As the account manager, I managed the entire campaign process. This included timelines, budgets, overseeing creative tasks, various decks, and the rounds of edit reviews. I also lead client & internal teams during the production of the series, social media posts, and digital media across VICE O&Os.
Todos Los Tacos is a 3-part documentary series where our host, Francisco Gomez, explores 3 cities across the US. He visits various taquerias and meets the businesses owners to learn about their delicious recipes, the history of their business, and their modern day community.
Episode 1 — Finding The Best Tacos in NYC
SYNOPSIS:
Francisco Gómez arrives in San Diego to experience the coastal lifestyle and try the surfers’ favorite seafood tacos.
He meets Xavier, the owner of Kiko’s Place Seafood, to learn the secrets behind his traditional family recipes. He also meets Mario Ordoñez, a surf coach who will teach him about the surfing community and their love for these tacos.

Episode 3 — Tacos Champions of L.A.
SYNOPSIS:
Francisco Gómez debunks the myth that there are no good tacos in NYC through a citywide 'taco tour' while discovering how food creates vibrant communities.
He starts at La Morada in the South Bronx, trying their mushroom tacos with an Oaxacan touch and local ingredients. Next, he visits Birria-Landia, one of the first taco trucks to bring Tijuana-style birria tacos to the city (slow-cooked beef marinated in a secret adobo blend). Finally, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, Taquería Ramírez's party atmosphere complements their traditional tacos inspired by the street flavors of Mexico City, such as Pastor and Tripa.
Francisco not only enjoys diverse and incredible tacos but also immerses himself in the cherished taqueria communities. This taco tour is presented in partnership with Camarena - The Most Awarded Tequila.
Episode 2 — Baja Seafood Tacos in San Diego
SYNOPSIS:
Discover the art of crafting award-winning tacos. In this episode of Todos Los Tacos, Francisco Gómez meets the champions who changed the L.A. competitive taco scene.
First, he meets the seasoned competitor Víctor Villa –the mastermind behind Villa's Tacos– and tries their completely original take on the L.A. taco. Then, Paco's quest leads him to La Carreta, a rising star in L.A.'s taco competitions. There, he tries the Torito, a tantalizing Sinaloa-style creation that helped La Carreta win 2023 Best in L.A. Award.
